Mar 24, 2014 · I had logged into it this morning and everything was working fine - internet access, email, etc. Then, out of the blue, I lost internet access ONLY. I could ping my gateway and internal sites and servers (email was fine) but I could not get out to google or any other EXTERNAL site even though I was just browsing them a few minutes ago.
However, a couple of days ago, I ran into the same usual problem (internet is still "technically" connected, but no internet access), and our usual remedy won't do anything. I've tried resetting the router, but to no avail. The internet itself is still up, because when I connected directly to our modem, I can use the internet just fine. ps: I have a tiny house outside & the reason I brought the Orbi was to push the signal out to it, which it was doing perfectly for a while, the signal was very strong going out to the tiny house but then recently the 'No internet connection' problems began but still with the strong signal, obviously when the Orbi was disconnected the wifi signal is very weak. We can’t browse the internet whilst our Cisco VPN client (v5.0.06.0160) is connected (to a Pix 515 firewall at a remote site). Nov 15, 2016 · I was happy. But, when I connected to the extender it reported No Internet Access. Rebooted and re-installed several times with no luck. No longer happy. Internet access on my Andorid phone, iPhone and iPad all connected to the extender and work great. Checked my other computer. It is connected to the primary WiFi signal and works fine.
The devices show as having a good/strong signal, yet are often unable to access the internet, and in the case of our lap tops when we can not get online they say ‘Connected’ to the wifi but they also say ‘No Internet Access’. The iPad minis we have also show as connected, with good signal, but just will not access the internet.
